Could mybb have a "private" subforum for everybody, in which is only the private threads they are allowed to see. In esotalk the way private threads works is a user designates who can see that thread. I think this would be good for discussion among one or more friends that they do not want to share with the whole forum i.e personal problems, chitchat, etc.

Would be nice to be able to upload through the ACP to restore the DB,  including all settings not just base settings and be able to handle large files.

This would be very useful, because you can have a lot of plugins/ add ons  and they will not destroy the navigation.
