Can we have the MCP regulated by configurable permissions similar to those governing use of the ACP? Currently with the ModCP, we can only either not let staff members use it at all, or give them free reign. I think we should be able to allow and disallow access to specific parts of it. Additionally, I think we should be able to control how long moderators can issue bans for. Thoughts?

  1. I really agree with this. Permissions would be the icing on the cake. A Mod CP is great, and permissions would even better.

  4. I totally agree with this suggestion. I want to set up a forum where I can have junior moderators and other groups with limited functions.

    Maybe a checkbox/yes-no system would work well that can be applied to groups and individuals. Something like:

    Can view ip's [checkbox or yes/no]
    Can edit anyone's post [checkbox or yes/no]
    Max ban to give [drop down box of available bans]

    etc.
