A finer control on who can see your date of birth

Instead of having the DoB field set up so that everyone can see it, maybe it should be set up like the vB system (this is one of the features in vB I actually use) so that the user can control who can see what information, for example:
Show DoB - Means everyone can view the users DoB and age.
Show Age - Means everyone can view the users age, and the admin can view the DoB
Hide All - Means only the admin can view the DoB and age.

I like this feature because I prefer to give just my age than my DoB, maybe it should also be setup so that when someone has either of the bottom two options on, their birthday doesn't show up on the calender or birthday section of the main page.
