I think it would be good if you could allow some BB code in the title, such as [b]Bold[/b], [i], [u], and color.

  1. I think this would be pointless as a regular feature. It should be a plugin. I haven't seen any other forum with this feature for the simple reason that it is annoying.

  2. I can see having the [b] and the formating ones but not changing sizes and stuff.

  3. Yeah, I wouldn't add the [size] tag, it would be out of control. :P

  4. I agree with Dr. Poodle.

  5. I agree, this would be better off as a plugin - I doubt most people would even use it because it isn't common and most wouldn't know of it.

  6. I also agree, this should be a plugin/mod and not a standard feature. I've never needed it. :P

  7. I agree with most of the above posts. The idea is okay, but I would probably have it turned off on my forum. I think the forums look more organized without all the different fonts, etc.

  8. I agree that it's an unnecessary feature, good candidate for plugin/mod.

  9. We really need some image in the thread title, or a big font-size. What's the use of this tag anyway?
    I agree with others.

  10. This should be minimal work to add to the core of mybb. I am all for it.

  11. I personally wouldn't like this, as it would upset the style of the forum index.

  12. That will leave a lot of messed and improper lists

  13. Yeah I realize I posted I was for this but now I want to change my mind...I forgot how it can totally mess up layout. So..can I change my vote?

  15. I allways thought this would be a good idea, Im glad you submitted it, the only code i think should be allowed is color/ur, and b/ i, or maybe the admin should have a choice of what code to allow.

    Nice idea

  16. Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing this IF the admin has to define specifically what code can be used. I could really only see [b][i] and [s] being of any use.

  17. smiley in the title might appeal to some

  18. My question is why did Tiki and others have to create the formats for bb code to start with and as plugins. I thought that the many text options would already have become part of the official forums.

I assume you mean why are there plugins for MyCode? Well they're from the time before Custom MyCode was introduced. But now with Custom MyCode, you don't necessarily need a plugin to add custom MyCode (it would make it still easier though). And those codes for glow, and whatever only work on certain browsers, and not all; they are also not regularly used.
