In my community, a lot of users register and not complete the validation, growing my database and displaying a "fictitious" registred users.

My idea, is create a functionality to delete users following a filter, for example:

Delete users if:
- Is in "Wait activation" group
AND
- Registered 1 month ago

----------
If this is complicated, insert checkboxes to execute a massive delete in Admin CP search engine is soo good!

(Sorry by my english)

  1. This would be a good idea for Dennis's 'Prune' modification.

  2. Very good idea. I delete users with zero posts after a month. It'd be nice if I didn't have to do that manually.

  3. Yes, I do this manually right now. Tried Dennis' prune mod, but it didn't work. Would be nice if this was a default feature though!

  4. I really need to spend some time fixing my mods :P

Might be easier to do this with a scheduling system.

  5. I think that in addition you should be able to mass resend activation emails for those that registered and have not activated. Additionally, being able to target users that have either 0 posts or have not activated with a custom email to try and encourage them to become active.

I think it's always nice to make a second attempt at getting people who were interested back than just removing them.

  6. I like the idea, and very much agree with LavaIce's comments.
