Comments on profile + more

I think the profile should be more interactive, The friends list should appear on it (I think this has been suggester before) and a comments part, where in a table, next to custom profile fields users can post comments about the person (a bit like the comments section on sites like MySpace), and it can be set so:

1) Only friends can post comments
2) Anyone Logged in
3) Everyone
4) No one
5) The user can choose.

Also, kind of a new idea, Modorators can post comments on user that only mods can see, I dont think this has been done before but i have not looked :)

Also last login, stats, last posts etc should be included and the user should choose what to show etc...

Comment, Im sure not many people will like this idea though

  1. People can already post comments via the rep system, given there is little control over who can actually leave a comment.

    As I don't use the buddy system, I personally see no real need to have it included on the profile page, however for sites where community is a real focus it may be useful. Not a bad idea, but maybe it should be made as a plug-in.

  8. No, if i wanted an IBP sys i would just use it...
    I think this would only be good if it matches your forums purpus.

    Should be a mod if anything i agree...

    EDIT: I just looked at the IPB profile, it is what i want lol but i still like MYBB

  11. That would be ace, i love the IPb profile system but i like MyBB as its if not the best free forum software so having that implemented into MyBB would be brilliant, i run a General community forum so it would suit my memebrs :)
