I know there are plugins for do that, but I think that a progress to make mybb and mediawiki fully integrated is very important!

Thanks for the great work you make, and sorry for my english (i'm italian)..

  1. How so is it important to have the two together?

  2. Personally, I think it's much easier to just make a Wiki board in your forums that only admins can post things in, then sort everything out in subforums. It's easier because you don't need to know Wiki syntax; you can just use BBCode (or, since only admins can post, simply enable HTML in that board).

A wiki and a message board are very different anyway, and what could you integrate them to do together? It's not like a board and a CMS.

The only things you could integrate are:
    - Users logged in on the board are logged in automatically in the wiki
    - Help documents from the board FAQ might link to the wiki

That's all I can think of, actually.

Blogs, CMS's, and interactive image galleries are more important for bridging than a wiki, in my opinion.

  3. If only admins can post, just make a simple HTML form that leads to a PHP page that adds the code to the database for the wiki(a basic FAQ-type system would work)

  4. Huh? I don't really get what you mean with integrated? Just make a new forum and enter a forum link to your wiki! Simple as.
