Improved Navigation

I think administrators should be able to easily add and remove links from/to the navigation menu in the AdminCP and they should be able to set a Name, Icon and Link. (And perhaps "Category" in combination with the drop-down menus).

Perhaps the navigation menus should also be displayed in dynamic drop-down menus to save space.

More Suitable as Plugin

  1. Then I'm a bigger fan of a template-based admincp so you can freely add and remove things the same way you would on your discussionboard.

  2. Hey guys,
    for all those people who cannot wait for this feature I wrote a plugin which makes the navigation editable, that is adding new groups, removing groups, adding links, removing links and changing the display order of the groups and the links wthin the groups.

    Important: Activate the plugin file before you overwrite the admin/index.php because if you overwrite it first you won't have a navigation until you activate the plugin file.
