Mark individual thread as read

There are some threads I know I just don't want to read, and would really just prefer to mark the thread as read without wasting the time and energy of entering the thread and then returning to the forum listing.

What I propose is a feature allowing you to mark individual threads as read from the forum display - by clicking on the thread's status icon (the papers indicating read, unread, hot, closed, etc).

Obviously I suggest this as a feature that would use AJAX, similar to the AJAX mark forum as read feature added in 1.4.
