Mass-email Changes/Improvements

Allow mass-emails targetlist to be selected by not only PRIMARY GROUP but by ADDITIONAL GROUPS as well...

So, to be able to send a message to targeted groups where the user does not necessarily have that particular group as PRIMARY GROUP. If sending to multiple groups, there would need to be de-duping of the list prior to sending to avoid multiple emails to the same recipient.

I would also like to be able to define the REPLY TO -address separately for each mail (to allow for mailing-campaigns and directing the replies to a unique mailbox created for the purpose if necessary)

Later on....I would also like to have an easy way to create special-selections based on standard and/or custom profile-fields.....but this is WAAAY in the future as the scope of it can be massive (I have about 50 or so customfields already and implementing AND/OR logic could turn to be horrific).

I have this type of thing to some extent already implemented with a lot of custom-code, but I would welcome them in the standard system as well....although PLUGINs would do just as well.

    That's open to spam abuse.

    The suggestion to also list secondary groups is a good one though.

  4. I don't think that the reply-to being open per mailing would be open for spam abuse as mass-email is still only available to Admins only....and they can do any mailing as it is already anyway...
    I think it would just help those of us that need to do multiple targeted mass-emails to our members. I would allow us to effectively handle and measure email-campaigns.
    this could just as well work as a plugin, I don't really care....I would just like to see it implemented...
