New posts and threads until check by user

Following situtation: a user gets the information that there are 300 new posts and 60 new threads (for example) and do not have the time to read all of them in one session. The next time he/she is comming back to the forum all these new posts and threads are not "new" anymore and will not been shown. However, these posts and threads have not been read by the user. It would be nice to give the user the possibilty to check or uncheck posts and threads who should be marked as "already read" or if he want to get them as "new posts and threads" again, once he/she is coming back to the forum. I hope I have been able to explain my request. ;) Included |
