On the forum display page there should be a quick thread box at the bottom (NO mycode and that stuff just like the quick reply box) and with that will be a title box and context box. This is good as most people i know types a new thread but takes time for the new thread page to load ALSO this will be something original as it has not been made on any other forum types.

  3. Nice idea, but rather pointless, IMO. If the user wants to start a new thread, all they gotta do is click the shiny new thread button.

  4. Ummm.. Is it that hard to click the New Thread button?

  5. I saw this on Dajoob's forum before. It was hand coded, and didn't have a "new thread" page. the "new thread" was a box at the bottom, like you say here. Might be good for impatient people, but I prefer clicking, (as Sephiroth said) the "shiny new thread button."

  6. Pretty pointless I agree...but someone should make a plugin to do this.
