super administrator

I do not know it this has already been implemented. I am new to administering forums.

I am looking for a "super moderator" concept. It is similar to something like a power of attorney. Why? In my absence I want a group of people to takeover and have all the administrative privileges.

Then, for some reason, I should be able to take the power back?

  2. I honestly don't get why people want to keep introducing new administrator levels. I'm doing perfectly fine with just one.

    On my friends forum, he has like 3 Administrator levels.. [b]1) Admin[basic], 2) Admin[advanced], 3) Admin[super][/b] Honestly, I find it completely pointless..

    I just have one administrator groups, and it servers it's purpose perfectly fine, since I am the only administrator...If you want to do this idea without it being implemented further, just make a user an 'Administrator', and make a new configuration for 'Absense' - and if you have it set to yes, it puts the other Administrator active.
