    When a post or thread is deleted, it gets moved into a "trash" forum instead of actually being removed from the database. It's actually a very handy thing to have around and it can currently be done with the custom mod tools.

    I wouldn't mind seeing this as a built-in feature as long as it can be turned off.

  6. why not just make a trash forum and move those trash topics in the trash forum? XD and close the trash forum ofcourse..

  7. I agree with Galen; good idea as long as it can be turned off.

    You could also add the functionallity to remove from the database any deleted posts from the trash forum that are over 30, 60 or 90 days old, as I am currently writing a cron script for the plugin version of this feature.
