  2. Yes that would be helpful. I would like to see if this can be done with minimal overhead to the database though.

  3. If we have a "task scheduler" system, it wouldn't be that difficult to add a "task" to unstick these threads every so often. Currently we're using a random number to trigger deletion of temporary thread redirects which isn't a very organized way of doing it, and if we implement this now, the unstick task would have to have the same dodgy code.
