In short, it is an evolution of applications to make them web based, with the end user in mind. It is more an attitude than a technology: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2

I still don't see how a web 2.0 template system would be - if you mean more user friendly. Then yes we always try to make it more user friendly.

Choli, most of us know what Web 2.0 was, we don't know what he/she means by 'Web 2.0 template system.'. I.E. Did he want a new template system with fancy effects/ajax/conditionals. What?

I just was answering pepotiger's post. In fact, I think that MyBB is already Web2.0, it uses modern technologies (AJAX, for example), it's a dynamic forum, user friendly, ...
I don't know what vinoth means with "Web 2.0 template system" either, so i wasn't trying to answer that :P

Well we can't do anything about it if we don't know what is a "web 2.0 template system"

u mean we need a web 2.0 AC first.... and if everybody else don't have it, i see no point
the theme issue would be better resolve with wordpress concepts, a lot easier to apply, it is a bunch of functions needed to be written.
